Day Eighteen: Can you tell my mind is elsewhere?

Let's see.
Yesterday morning I took Meredith to see Mr. Magorium's Wonder Emporium.
I let her choose her outfit, and I think she did very well.
It was her first time carrying a purse, and she chose the vintage purse Hillary sent to her many moons ago.
(She filled it with action figures and a toy cell phone.)

Last night I started a sock. Because it seemed like the right thing to do.
It's an Undulating Rib sock from Favorite Socks, and I'm quite proud of it so far.

Tonight we ate fajitas with friends.
Tomorrow the girls will be making a paper chain to help us count down the days until Christmas.

36.

    She is such a doll.

I'm loving action figures in the purse. A girl's gotta be prepared.

My excuse for not taking up sock knitting? My giant size 11 feet. I fear I would never be done.

A girl's gotta have her cell phone.
I bet she felt so grown up.
    Adorable!

I am not responsible for the above repetition.

The page threw some crazy error message at me and then published my comment twice.

I am a competent and experienced commenter.

    Thank you.

I wish my laptop would explode so I could knit socks.

I kid, white bullet. I kid.

My daughter has the EXACT same outfit. Except her purse is camoflauge. Meredith's matches a little better, I think!

    So, how was the movie?

I would like to take the girls to see something fun, but Bee Movie's reviews have been so iffy. Gotta be a winner for me to fork out the big bucks for the theater experience!

Wow, she does way better dressing herself than I did at that age! But as an enginerd, I sometimes still don't do well dressing myself!

    cutie-pie!

so how was the movie? i almost took M to see it, but thought it might be too scary for a 5-year-old...

Heartfull and Sweetney--The movie was very bleh. (Meredith liked Bee Movie much better.) I found that Dustin Hoffman's teeth were very distracting. I couldn't figure out why they dentured him that way. And if they *didn't* and those are his real teeth? Well, it's time for some work, Ishtar.
