You still have a shot at love. Are you interested?

First off? You guys are The Nicest People. Your comments on my final NaBloPoMo thing made me feel all fuzzy inside. In a good way.

If I had the time, I would knit some really warm socks for each and every one of you.

The sad thing is, I DID have the time, but I spent the better part of my morning searching out the red and purple Furberries.

Meredith has seen Santa Claus three times now (long story, not worth your time). Each of the three times she has told him that she wants Furberries and glow in the dark stars for her room.

Anyway, done and done.

Also, in case you're interested, I wore my leg warmers for the first time today. (UNDER my pants, Jennifer Beals.)

And although I think Flickr Toys are a bit silly, I decided to waste some time Hockneying my leg warmer photo.

(Why am I screwing around with Flickr Toys instead of knitting socks for you?!)

Note: Meredith, Harper, and I made the paper chain today as a Countdown to Christmas Cut-a-Link-Every-Day thing.

Also Note: I took this photo as I watched A Shot at Love with Tila Tequila. Dear God. I'm wasting so much time. (And I'm cheering for Dani.)

I really hope your socks are warm enough. Because I'm sort of busy numbing my brain.

Flickr toys is an addictive little toy. Did you try the thing (technical term) that shows which of your photos made it into Explore?

Sounds like a fantastic way well spent to me. Then again, I'm in Florida wearing flip-flops so that I can gaze at my gorgeous pedicure each hour. Legwarmers, though, might come in handy for a week or two January.

What is it with us this time of year? Just when we have 85 million things to do, we do nothing!
I need a fire under me to get this damn list manageable.
Or maybe I just need to get busy numbing my brain...

On the Santa thing: at preschool Christmas program on Sunday, Ella had a chance to visit with Santa, score the goodies, and tell him what's up with the list. Not OUR Ella! Nosirree, Bob. Said she could buy the coloring book, crayons, and candy. Suggested that Mommy should wait in that line and give Santa the scoop on what to bring. Ella had potluck food to nibble at, friends to table-hop with. What on earth will she be like at FIVE???

Oh, you need a skull warmer to fix that.

OMG, I have to admit to having watched that show a couple of times because my husband's friend is a friend of the blond guy. Don't tell anyone!

IF I were watching Tila Tequila, I would be cheering Dani on.

I've liked Dani from the start. But I have to admit I wonder:
    1. What was Dani thinking coming on this show???
    2. Their connection (Tila's and Dani's) was never very apparent. But she kept sticking around elimination after elimination. I figured/hoped the producers were editing out some of that so we would be surprised when they end up together.

IF I were watching the show, that's what I'd think...

I love Dani. I want to date Dani. It's a shame I'm married. (And hello, I LOVE that show.)

Thank you so much for reminding me of Sister Wendy Beckett today. I saw one of her art programs a long time a go and her quote (with her crazy supercilious British accent) "It really is a MAJOR Hockney!" is one of my all time favorites. Sister Wendy rocks!
