Chipmunks Having Kittens
Meredith: Mommy? I need to tell you something.
Me: What is it?
Meredith: Well, I just had a baby in my bed.
Me: You did?
Meredith: Yes. It was in my belly for a very long time, and now it's out of my belly.
Me: Well, congratulations! How are you feeling?
Meredith: I'm feeling brand new like Simon the Chipmunk.
Me: And the baby?
Meredith: Well, the baby is a very old cat named Luna. She'll probably need to stay in the hospital for fifteen years.

at 2/28/2008 10:23:28 AM- This must be the age for baby obsession. Our DD has the same thoughts going on. Except she has announced that she wants us to get her a big sister. She doesnt' want to be the big sister. When Daddy told her that it wasn't possible, she then said, "Okay, then *I'LL* have the baby and THAT can be my big sister."
