The Sharks are gonna have their way tonight!

In less than four hours, Jeff and the girls will be heading out to spend the night at his parents' house.

Do you realize what this means?

Tonight I have the house to mice elf, Sly!

My plans for the evening include (but are not limited to):
1. Mopping the kitchen floor with no worries that someone is going to slip and fall!
2. Stretching out in the tub with lavender bath salts and Jeff's copy of The New Kings of Nonfiction.
3. Reaching the 50% Finished mark on my current sock project.
4. Curling up on the couch with Joel McHale and a new sock project.

I'm not answering the door, the phone, or the e-mails.

AND, if my neighbors are lucky, I may (or may not) pull one of those "Hey! I'm eating Saag Paneer! Naked!" tricks.
It's a show stopper, indeed.

I will be flying solo tomorrow night as well. My plan is to have an entirely geeked out night loading my new iPod.
    Enjoy your time!

I have the entire apartment to myself tonight. I plan to drink wine and be lazy and all in preparation for tomorrow's marathon babysitting. So I think I deserve the drink. Don't you?

Whoa! Am I the only one that knows that title is from "West Side Story"? Have fun and enjoy your time alone. We all need it once in a while.

Only thing that could make it better would be adding BOB to that bath. Enjoy yourself tonight!

N.Monkey--Don't forget to get the Polyphonic Spree show from the All Songs Considered podcast!

Heather B.--You DO deserve a drink! And another one for me!

Mrs. Who--West Side Story was a very important part of my parents' wedding, so I try to keep it fresh in my head.

    Kathy--Amen, Sister!

Susan--If by BOB you mean "Bottle of Beer", I've got it covered! Drinking, reading, and bathing in preparation for The Soup and socks. I'm in heaven.

Sweetney--How great would that be?! (By the way, I just downed an order of Indian nachos, and am ripping through Season 5 of the Gilmore Girls DVDs. One minute I'm 25, and then BAM! 73!!!)

just found you through dana at mamalogues, and i'm loving reading through your past posts. . . and i'm seriously impressed if you use your night alone to mop the floor. i'm alone tonight, and my floor's still dirty.

That's not the BOB I'm referring to but your interpretation would come in second.

Who's BOB, and is your tub large enough to accomodate both of you?

I think most tubs fit Battery-Operated-Boyfriends. They make water-proof ones too. :-)
