Three is the atomic number of Lithium, Kurt Cobain!

Harper Rose is three years old today.
(And to celebrate the event, I've been allowing her to dress in obnoxious character t-shirts and play a Barbie guitar that was most likely made in China.)
Harper is a Taurus.
She enjoys eating red peppers, cantaloupe, apples cut into slices with no peel, and frappuccino popsicles.
She often wants you to call her Muno. (When she's not Muno, she's Alvin.)
Her favorite book right now is The Potty Book, and she especially loves the page that reads: "Bye-bye pee! Bye-bye poop!" I say with a wave and a cheer.
(She is nowhere near being potty trained, although the idea of it is fascinating to her.)
She is currently watching Curious George on television and eating Honey Nut Cheerios in her favorite red bowl.
Her birth story (including the most amazing photo ever taken of my insides) is here.

My husband's birthday is today, too. The most useful tip I've ever heard about his Taurus self is that whatever you ask a Taurus, they first say, "No!" Then you wait a while and maybe they'll come around to yes. Also keep the fridge well-stocked at all times so they don't have to have a nervous breakdown. Note for the future, Harper.

Happy Birthday to your husband!

I am LOVING that rocker look..the pink Barbie guitar is very girly..but the bold choice of a Spongebob shirt... Talk about being your own individual! Love It!!
Great book choice...

at 4/28/2008 1:46:32 PM- Mrs. Kennedy--What a disappointing cantaloupe that would have been! A sixty pound weight gain, a 39-week gestation, and then a piddly eight pound cantaloupe. Then again, it makes perfect sense. I've swallowed many a (cantaloupe) seed.
I have no idea how the baby got in there. To my knowledge, there is no such thing as a baby seed.
MP--I can name five people who are rolling their eyes right now at both the Spongebob shirt and the Barbie guitar. No. Seven.
