I spent today running (27 minutes without stopping! Bonus: I returned to my car with no evidence of a black-out homicide, although I have reason to believe that I accidentally willed a child to wreck his bike!), figuring out PTO money stuff, ironing out some freelance, shopping for dinner, and grabbing the supplies for cake balls.
Check it out.
What you see here in my weirdo wrinkled hand is a test tube full of bone sprinkles.
The rescue agency who allowed us to adopt Scout is having a bake sale this weekend.

Oh Scouty Scout. If I lived in St. Louis, I’d come buy some of your balls.
I agree. Your bone balls are probably the best.
Holy Moses, I thought that was a vial of something extremely illegal! Getting arrested at a fundraiser does not help the organization. Bringing instead a delicious clever treat is a good idea. Well done.
Keep up the running, it gets easier. I have been running since June. It’s an excellent way to relieve stress and get in shape. I recommend this book, “Running and Fat Burning for Women,” by Jeff and Barbara Galloway.
Cindy’s comment above: I’m trying not to let that get the better of me!
Scout, is in my opinion officially the cutest darn dog on the internet. Good for you for fundraising on behalf of that organization!
Yay for no black outs and murder!!!! And even more yay the cute bones are on behalf of the organization that helped you find Scout.
I LOVE that picture of Scout! I wonder what she is thinking?
